A new book, written by Antoinette Giancana, daughter of late Chicago mob boss, Sam Giancana, says that the mob ordered the hit on JFK. According to the article, the Chicago mob helped JFK win Illinois ("vote early, vote often") which swung the electoral vote in his favor. In return, JFK was supposed to ease up on the mafia. And he didn't.
